Howdy, I'm AJ and I like to draw silly comics and doodles about my characters. I draw a lot of personified space and nerd out a lot about astronomy.
I also play videogames and read comics/watch shows and sometimes I draw for those, but I most often draw my own OCs or my friends.
I'm most active on toyhouse (chariklo) and discord.
If you're under 20 I probably won't talk 1v1 very much (and if under 18, only in discord groups/for commissions or trades) as it makes me a little uncomfortable, but DMs are ok for general questions or art/design trade questions! (basically just don't try to befriend me if you're a minor please! make friends your age instead! i'm too old, i remember tape decks!)

I'm AJ, I live in Texas and have a black cat named Midna. I used to be a webcomic artist before I disappeared for 5 years for various reasons. I created both Nineteen and Spectral Clash. If you remember either of those, well, sorry hi again!Remember back in like 1997/1998 when comet Hale-Bopp went by and John Glenn went back into space and Sesame Street sent Smiley the worm to the moon? I think it broke something in my little kid brain and I've been obsessed with space ever since. I made Long Night Moon (solar system OCs) and Spectral Clash (everything else) mostly as a dare back in 2011 but it took off as all my friends helped me make designs and goof around about space to create a story where we all feel represented (as I think personified space should represent all people and strive to do so with my stories).
If you ever want to know more about space, just ask, and I will give more info than you ever asked for. I also encourage seeking out star parties in your area so that you can learn more hands on.
I have other stories as well but my space stories are the ones I focus on the most. You can find vague hints of the others on Toyhouse.
For personal reasons it may be hard to get me to explain my ocs in detail, please don't take it personally haha. I will try to make a more easily digestible version of the story sometime soon.If you are interested in making your own space personifications, feel free to DM for a fun discord to join!
